The Forks Area Sports Association (FASA), a division of the Greater Grand Forks Convention & Visitors Bureau, represents many facilities and attractions that can accommodate anyone and any sport.  These facilities are highlighted by the Ralph Engelstad Complex and the Alerus Center.  The 114 million dollar Ralph Engelstad Complex, which is home to the University of North Dakota's Hockey, Basketball, and Volleyball programs, has been named one of the top ten sports facilities in the world. 

 

The Alerus Center, with a 13,000 seat stadium, ballroom, and multiple meeting rooms, offers a great location for sporting events and any meetings or banquets that need to be held.

 

In addition to these top-notch facilities, Greater Grand Forks has many wonderful youth and amateur sporting venues:

·        Ulland Park (16 softball fields)

·        Southern Estates (10 adult soccer fields)

·        Area Arenas (9 total rinks)

·        The Greenway (park and trail system)
